Winter, 2024-25

Dear WELL members (past, present & future!),

WELL celebrated our 20th year in 2024! Now we’re planning for 2025 & beyond!

Over the decades, we’ve held hundreds of educational and hands-on events, from renowned guest speakers to local Town Halls, from garden tours to cooking & canning, from energy- and water-efficiency to emergency preparedness workshops, and from local investing to city beautification.

As we move forward, WELL continues to play an important role, and we need your support! While there are many worthy organizations, we’re one of very few working at the local level to build a healthy, more sustainable future right here where we live.

We do this by furthering education, learning valuable skills to take action, and by partnering with other organizations to share knowledge and support projects that build a thriving community. For examples, we currently serve as fiscal sponsor for the Willits Shelter Action Group and the Mendocino Community Wellness Collective.

WELL also sponsors the SOS (Singers on Streetcorners) Choir, singing songs of peace and spreading delight to people passing by. (If interested, contact Prana at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..)

Our Coordinating Committee has recently been revitalized with the addition of Prana, Laura, Sonja, and Robin, joining Madge and Jane. We also need to expand our membership and our financial base. Please renew (or join) and make an extra donation! (All contributions are tax-deductible; we’ll send you a receipt for any donation over $100 or on request.)
